I totally scored some fabulous deals on the LUXURIOUS and CRAVED lipsticks of the season:) I am stoked!

So, if you recall I couldn't snag a fab tube of the illustrious Chris&Tell Pout-A-Porter and was totally bummed. So I found a dupe recommended by another fabulous blogger PinkSith: M.A.C's Red Full Stop..it's amazing! Then I was bummed out bc IT was SOLD out everywhere, but Dillard's brought it back!
M.A.C just lauched their new Spring 2010 Collection at all the biggie department stores and DILLARD'S is the only one that has THIS lipstick in store right now! I know it seems a little more coral and bright, but on lips it looks so peachy and beautiful! Don't judge it prematurely, swatches prove this is a look-alike!

Also scored Estee Lauder's Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in Raspberry Pop...mimics Givenchy's Raspberry Lipstick, but a little less pricey (again so you can score your daily latte!)

So excited! Sephora makes my heart pitter patter bc they ALWAYS have the coolest makeup designers available! Scored this Too-Faced Lipstick in Cupcake (stop it I know!). Look at the adorable diamond topper!

I can tell you where it is! Last few lipsticks are gracing NYC's Saks 5th with entourage in tow to see Chris Benz himself sign and promote his Chris & Tell Pout-a-Porter Lipstick for Lancome (others you may recognize are the coveted Proenza Pink (by Proenza Schouler) and Thakoon's Pink Pixel....P. Som's P.S Kiss and Behnaz (the actual name of the lipstick---so cool) by Behnaz Sarafpour). What's even WORSE is the darling peach packaging..such good marketing..sigh. xoxo

AH! There it is! The COVETED Lancome's L'Absolu Rouge In Chris & Tell

The lastest "Holy Grail" of lipsticks, with 600 selling out within 2 hours! Stores are sold out, pre-sale is a thing of the uber past and ebay counts are about $100...what can you do? It's THE juicy peach lipstick of 2010.

So I was all "pumped like a sneaker" (says my friend Mere) to find out that MAC's Full-Stop Red (Lustre) Lipstick was an abnormally close second buy for Chris&Tell (I know it does seem a bit more coral-y, but looking at swatches it's quite comparable). BUT! This darling stick of fabulousness is hard to find as well, sold out at MAC, but check out ebay!

French Infusion! Introducing Sonia Rykiel Pour H&M!!!!! 2010:)

I just cannot get enough of H&M!! I love visitng ATL to see Babs and hitting up this fashion empire filled with fun pieces to mix and match! Oh, and super inexpensive, especially with featured designers!).
Sonia Rykiel is a visionary fashion designer from Paris who actually linked up with big-name Henri Bendel in NYC. She designed lingerie for H&M recently and has also launched her ready-to-wear line......love it! xoxo

Dare to be creative!

Ok, so I was perusing the internet looking for some "embroidered on the booty" soffe shorts for my mother (yes, my awesome MA who runs 5 miles a DAY!!). She loves to support whatever educational institution I am in at the moment. Well looking through all the sites, I stumbled across this fabulous company where you can make your own shorts, tee, etc. I couldn't help it...Dear Ma..please hold on with the educational shorts..peace, love and cupcakes is all you really need anyways:)

Loving the ballerina-esque skirts out there in the fashion world. Rodarte made an adorable series for Target's Go International, but sadly sold out (not surprising!). Check out ebay, though, lots of sellers are selling plum and mustard color ones:)

FASHION ALERT! ECSTATIC! Just bought this Forever 21 skirt for  $17.80! I about fell out of my chair! I was clearly panicking as I selected the size, convinced this adorable find would be snatched up, I mean under $20?!!!! Of course, I will properly pair this with my new silver glitter oxfords! YAY!

I can definitely see this with a strapless black top and killer stilettos for an amazing date-night ensemble that will blow his mind!

LOVE THIS Sass & Bide "The Last Romance Skirt." I think you can get it at ASOS, I have my EYE on it, but it's a bit pricey. Gold fabric is so gorgeous though...instant glam..zero effort

You have to love FREE PEOPLE! Designs are always perfection. I love the "fullness factor" of this skirt, guaranteed to make your waist look teensy-tiny!

Boys have "bro-mances," can't us Girls have "brogue-mances?"

LOVING the masculization phase that fashion is in right now. No, not the fact that we are more like men (ha! this is impossible), but the fact that we are feeling empowered to that next step to Diva Professionale....I guess you could say we are climbing the corporate ladder to the executive suite of fashion!

Current obsessions: OXFORDS! An easy go-to choice for comfort and class! Adds instant structure to a feminine flowy dress and a hint of peep-toe sparkle under a full-fledged suit power suit (and who said all that glitters isn't powerful? No one that's who!). Easily attaintable "wow factor" bc they are an accesssory all in their own! I bought the silver glitter F21 pair because I thought they would be fabulous with a simple dress and a boyfriend blazer. Or, I think wearing them with a short ballerina tutu skirt (see other posts!) would be so much fun, and definitely tips the scale from "light and fluffy" to more of a "tough cotton candy vide":) Oh, and did I mention they are around $20?? :)Sigh.....perfection.

I am LOVING this dress! Hot Topic put an unexpected twist on it's signature gothic/punk fashion statement by adding this yummy cupcake dress:) I just love it!
Strapless? Check! Adorable with cardigan? Check! Yumminess factor? Of course!
How fun with black leggings? Opaque tights? Or sandals in the summer?
I mean, seriously, cupcakes are a mainstay my dear fashionistas:) I can't say I am disappointed!

I hate how I sit and debate about something and then BAM! Item sells out and is NOWHERE to be found!
Now I want it..... and I want it now. I scour every website ever made.

Sigh. Moral of story. If you want it, find a way to get it, bc that's your subconscious' nice way of telling you "hey you need this." Don't be rude and ignore your inner instinct or you will be up til the wee hours searching obsessively ebay, overstock.com, and amazon.....

W are addicted to sweets, coffee, our doggies (Mika is Bab’s, Cleo and Jack are Hill’s) and frankly quite obsessed with fashion.



We spent many a free college weekend at FSU at the local Borders reading all the greats (Vogue, Elle, Marie Clair, Harper's) for free whilst sipping a Chai Tea Latte in the comfort of our favorite brown leather reading chairs. Of course, we were just as happy on the floor against a wall when others, we suppose, caught on that this was a fabulous past time.

We are bff’s and HSLMs! That is “heterosexual life-mate” thank you very much! We will one day own and operate a fabulous fashion shop complete with joining cafe:) I know, we can't wait EITHER!
